In a world where life can be full of the ordinary, I use form, color and texture to create jewelry that encourages personal and distinctive expression My world is one of simple forms and contemporary colors crafted into original wearable art pieces.
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, I studied Interior Design and Studio Art at Villa Maria College. I have always had a love of things made by hand and I have worked in traditional crafts such as ceramics and pottery, metalsmithing, enameling, block printing and batik to name a few.
I consider myself a mixed media artisan working with alternative materials, but each piece of my jewelry includes polymer clay. Polymer clay is a fairly new fine art medium that now holds a distinguished place in permanent art collections in the Museum of Art and Design in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Racine Museum of Art in Wisconsin.
